Maria’s Corner

MariaA note from the Author

My Dearly Beloved:

May the grace and peace of God that surpasses all understanding fill your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Life has so many facets to it, and through those facets one can express one’s perception of life’s varying components.

I believe that poetry is one’s self-expression and perception of life’s journey – with its valleys and mountains. It helps one to express in written form, etc., one’s personal view of the world and life; and how one overcomes the obstacles, detours and losses in order to reach the mountaintop. Undoubtedly, there are times when the valleys seem too numerous to handle. But God, when we trust and depend on Him, gives us the strength and the grace to endure.

Character is built in and through the journey of those trials and how one endures.

One’s complete trust and belief in God’s word, in its right division, is the only thing that will withstand the tests and trials of life; and will bring you into a stronger dependency on God; believing that what He has completed at the cross was His unconditional love poured-out in our hearts.

Oh how I love Him…because he first loved me, and so my relationship with Him grows more and more each and every day.

Therefore, I felt the need to share some of my heartfelt thoughts with you in the pages that follow.

I pray that someway, along the way, this journey would be of comfort to some hurting soul and would be a true blessing to all, knowing that –…we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are…Hebrews 4: 15

My grace is sufficient for you….2 Corinthians 12:9
