The Bible tells us a few ways to be saved and that is one reason that there are many denominations today. The devil is the one who has created the confusion that leads to so many denominations, not God and the Bible. All a person has to do to know the truth is follow what is written in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth.”(KJV)
To prove what I mean, look at these Scriptures, which are NOT for us even though these Scriptures are in the Bible and some who do not study more diligently say that we who are Christians are spiritual Israel, which is far from the truth. In John 4:22, it says, “…for salvation is of the Jews.”(NKJV). In Romans 11:26, “And so all Israel will be saved…” In Proverbs 28:18, “Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved…” These all have to do with Jews, the nation of Israel.
But now, let us see what the Scriptures have to say for us under the dispensation of the grace of God, known as the Gospel of grace and also the mystery spoken of by our apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:1-9, “…Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—If indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, How that by revelation He made known to me the mystery…” In other words, Paul is the apostle to us Christians, who are NOT Jews and are part of the body of Christ. The body of Christ will be judged by Romans 2:16, “In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.” This is the gospel given to Paul in Eph. 3:1-3.
Our salvation is written in 1 Corinthians 15:2-4, “By which also you are SAVED, if you hold fast (believe) that word which I preached to you…that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” 2 Corinthians 11:3, says, “But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so you minds may be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ.”
Now, thank God for His great gift to you of saving you from the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14) by dying on the cross for you.
It is done.
